On Moving Forward
It's in our source code.
It hurts, but it feels good to move on, and I don’t mean pretending that it never happened, I mean moving on and identifying what was, what wasn’t, who is, and who isn’t.
What then? What must we do with the return value of the past? Why even bother to look back? Tell that to a historian.
Isn’t time moving forward? Tick, tock, why are we not doing the same thing? Wake up, it’s in our source code, we are not programmed to go back; genome evolution – no brainwash mechanism and no regressive agenda can reach that low of a level.
Trying to halt the natural order of things is futile, like making the same mistake over and over again, it leads to no path but madness.
